Frequently Asked Questions
Who is Hydraut?
Is Hydraut a manufacturer or an importer?
Neither one nor the other in the traditional sense. Hydraut is a European technology hub. We select the best Asian manufacturing partners, import semi-finished products, and then assemble, customize, and test 100% of our production at our Italian factory.
We have been operating in the European market since 2006, with a loyal customer base built up over nearly two decades.
What is the difference between Hydraut, Huade, and Hytek products?
Hydraut offers three product lines. Hydraut-branded products are assembled from carefully selected components—no third-party manufacturer’s brand is displayed—and offer the most competitive pricing. Huade products bear the Huade brand (proportional and directional valves, pressure and flow control) — ideal when specifications require a recognized manufacturer brand. Hytek products bear the Hytek brand (internal gear pumps, mobile solutions) — ideal for high-performance servo applications. All three lines are assembled and tested in Italy with the same 12-month warranty.
How long has Hydraut been around?
Hydraut has been active in the European hydraulic market since 2006. We have established relationships with customers who have been buying from us for over a decade. Our current expansion through partnerships with Huade and Hytek is the natural evolution of a proven business model.
Does Hydraut have ISO certifications?
Hydraut's manufacturing partners operate under ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, and CE certification. Hydraut adds its own quality assurance: every component is individually tested on our test bench before shipment.
Where is Hydraut located?
The headquarters, warehouse, and assembly plant are located in Gallarate (Varese), Italy—a strategic location near Malpensa Airport that facilitates efficient European logistics.
Can Hydraut supply custom or non-standard components?
Yes. Unlike major European brands, which typically offer only standard catalog options, our technology partners offer exceptional customization capabilities. We can supply pumps built according to your technical drawings and specifications.
Products and Technical Specifications
Are Hydraut components interchangeable with Rexroth?
Yes. Our products are dimensionally and functionally interchangeable with leading European brands—same flanges, same shafts, same ports. For example, our HSP piston pumps replace the Rexroth A10VSO series, and our HGX internal gear pumps replace Rexroth PGH models. No modifications to the machine are required.
At what pressure can HGX pumps operate?
The Hytek HGX series operates continuously at 350 bar—compared to the 315 bar of standard Rexroth PGH models. This performance is certified through endurance tests lasting over 200 hours at 3,000 rpm and 300 bar.
What speeds can HGX pumps reach?
Up to 5,000 rpm for small sizes and 4,000 rpm for medium sizes—significantly higher than the 3,000 rpm typical of standard internal gear pumps. This allows for downsizing: the same flow rate with a smaller, lighter pump.
What is the KSPH servo pump system?
The KSPH servo pump is a plug-and-play hybrid electro-hydraulic system that combines an inverter, a brushless motor, and an internal gear pump. It reduces energy consumption by up to 80% in machines with intermittent cycles (injection molding, die casting, metalworking) by shutting down the motor during pauses, and ensures a noise reduction of up to 20 dB.
What product range does Hydraut cover?
The complete range of hydraulic components for industrial machinery and mobile equipment: variable- and fixed-displacement piston pumps, internal gear pumps, vane pumps, piston motors, proportional valves (open-loop and closed-loop), directional control valves, pressure and flow control valves, and KSPH servo pump systems.
Which industries does Hydraut serve?
Primarily OEM manufacturers of machinery in the following sectors: plastic and rubber injection molding, metalworking presses, die-casting, wood/paper/waste presses, and mobile machinery (construction, road construction, agriculture, and material handling).
Orders and Services
What are Hydraut's delivery times?
Standard delivery takes 2 weeks from order confirmation. Items in stock are shipped within 24–48 hours. This compares to the 12–16 weeks required for direct imports from Asia or the 8–12 weeks needed by major European manufacturers during periods of high demand.
What warranty does Hydraut offer?
A full 24-month warranty on the entire Hydraut product line and a 12-month warranty on the Huade and Hytek product lines. Our defect rate is consistently below 1%.
Does Hydraut provide technical support?
Yes. Our team of engineers supports your technical department with sizing, comparison charts with current components, adaptation kits, prototyping assistance, and after-sales service. We act as a bridge between your technical team and our partners’ R&D centers.
How can I become a Hydraut distributor?
We are building a selective distribution network across Europe. Please contact us via the “Become a Distributor” page to discuss territorial availability, requirements, and partnership terms.
Can I order directly from Hydraut, or do I need to go through a distributor?
Both options are available depending on the country and order volume. OEMs can work directly with Hydraut. For smaller orders or specific regions, we may refer you to our local distributor.
Does Hydraut offer samples or test units?
Yes. For qualified OEM prospects, we provide test samples along with comprehensive technical documentation and comparison charts. Please contact our sales team to arrange a test.
